As a Product Designer on Grab’s Trust, Identity & Safety (TIS) team, I designed verification, authentication, and monitoring products to strengthen platform security for passengers and drivers. My work included account recovery, OTP verification, and trip monitoring, addressing the rising risks of cyberattacks as Grab expanded from physical to digital services. I collaborated closely with engineers and product managers in Singapore and Seattle to deliver solutions that enhanced safety and trust across the platform.

Expanding the driver fleet was critical to ensuring faster passenger allocation, helping Grab outperform fierce competition with Uber by delivering superior service. I transformed the driver acquisition process from a largely offline workflow into a fully digital platform, enabling drivers to register independently or with guided support from Grab agents, remotely, on-site, or at Driver Centres.
In parallel, I designed back-office systems that equipped operations teams with efficient tools to review and verify driver documentation. To further support drivers, I created financial transparency products that provided clear visibility into expenses, earnings, and overall profitability.
